The Bulgarian Support Fund

A three-year grant has been made for the provision of a Christian training and community centre in Varna. This is a project from which Christians throughout the country will benefit and be made ready to return to their community to spread God’s word.

There is a great need in this country for Christian training for Sunday school teachers, camp leaders and holiday Bible club leaders. The grant, over three years, will enable the employment of a Christian trainer to develop and expand this work.

A grant has been given to assist with the improvement of the facilities for the Summer Camp work. Literally hundreds of young people will benefit as they enjoy a time of Christian teaching and fun in North Devon.

The Shaftesbury Society (UK)

A grant to provide practical training, resources, events and theological reflection for church leaders and community workers that relate to their involvement in Christian social action. The grant will enable the employment of a worker to oversee this important development.
